Coach with a breadth of experience

Twenty-two years in uniform. Then a second career in healthcare leadership. Then a third as an entrepreneur. All different. All successful. Each one meant being a beginner again.

Your first chapter doesn’t define you. Neither does your second. Different chapters meet different needs.

Outside of coaching, you might catch me on a hiking trail, traveling around the globe, or experimenting with the best angle to capture a photo. It’s the simple pleasures that keep me grounded.

Where I've Sat

I retired from the United States Air Force as a Colonel in 2018, after 22 years as a Medical Service Corps officer leading healthcare operations, teams, and organizations around the world. Since then I have held senior operating roles in publicly traded and not-for-profit healthcare systems, [including President and CEO of a business unit within a Fortune 4 company — confirm this wording and whether to name the P&L scope].

I am a certified executive leadership coach through the International Coaching Federation and hold leadership and facilitation certifications from Georgetown University. I am certified in Designing Your Life, and qualified to administer and debrief the Leadership Circle Profile, EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360, Hogan, CliftonStrengths, and DiSC.

Veteran Turned Executive Leadership Coach

Transitioning from the military to the private sector wasn’t easy, just as transitioning from individual contributor to leader, manager to director, or senior vice president to CEO isn’t easy. It’s full of challenges and barriers, and how you show up matters. One of my greatest joys is being a thought and accountability partner for individuals and teams working to level up their performance and reach their goals.
And if what’s next is a change of direction rather than a next step, that’s the work I do in Transition and Life Design.

How I Work

Most of the leaders I work with are not short on capability. They’re short on permission — the self-authorization to act on what they already know how to do. A good deal of our work is finding where that line sits for you, and what changes once you cross it.
I use assessments where they earn their place, and I’m direct about what the data does and doesn’t show. The instrument is never the point. What you do differently on Monday is.

In a Client’s Words

“She routinely asked thought-provoking questions, offered practical advice, and provided alternate points of view to ensure all aspects were considered. Most notably, Andi inspired me through a genuine hands-on approach; she went above and beyond basic conversations and guided me through the discomfort to realize new heights of self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-acceptance. Andi admirably focuses on helping the whole person and I can honestly say that my time with her was life changing.”
