Leadership Coaching

Ever felt on the edge of a breakthrough, but something’s holding you back? Executive coaching aims to support leaders at all levels in aligning their actions with results.

Coaching, which is not advice, therapy or counseling, is a purposeful and confidential partnership that addresses specific leadership competencies designed to move you along a roadmap towards defined objectives and greater satisfaction in the workplace. Many of my clients are looking to transition from the manager to director level or beyond, navigate challenges with coworkers, and exercise greater influence in the workplace.

Others come to me between roles. You left well — an exit you’re proud of, or a run that reached its natural end — and now there are options on the table. The search isn’t the hard part. Choosing is. The risk here is quiet: taking the offer that most resembles the last job because it’s legible and available, then spending two years discovering it wasn’t the one. We’ll get clear on what you’re actually optimizing for, pressure-test each option against it, and prepare you to enter the next role deliberately rather than gratefully.

What it is:

One-on-one sessions with me, where we'll map out your journey, break down those barriers, and set you on a path forward.

This is ideal for you if:

You're looking for personalized guidance, a coach who's been in your shoes, and strategies tailored just for you.

Process:

Customized one-to-one sessions Assessments: Leadership Circle 360, EQ-i and EQ-360, CliftonStrengths, Hogan, DiSC

Transition and Life Design

If you know the next role is out there and you’re weighing offers, that’s leadership coaching. This is for when the destination itself is the open question.

Some transitions aren’t a next step. They’re a different road.

Legal to operations. Corporate to founder. Full-time to retired — or to something you don’t have a word for yet. The common thread is that the destination isn’t a job title you can go apply for. It has to be built before it can be pursued.

I’ve made that walk. Twenty-two years in uniform, then healthcare leadership, then building this practice. Each one meant being a beginner again, and none of them was a straight line.

This work starts earlier than a resume. What do you want this chapter to hold? What are you unwilling to trade for it? What does a good day look like when no one is assigning it to you? From there we build real options and test them, rather than betting everything on the first door that opens.

I’m certified in Designing Your Life, the design-thinking approach to career and life decisions developed at Stanford. It gives us a working structure: reframe the question that has you stuck, generate more than one viable path, and prototype those paths through conversations and small experiments before you commit to any of them.

What it is:

One-on-one sessions aimed at a direction, not a job. We’ll clarify what you want, generate several credible paths, test them against reality, and move when you have evidence rather than hope.

This is ideal for you if:

You’re changing fields, leaving military or government service, considering building something of your own, or approaching retirement and unwilling to let it be defined by what stops.

Process:

Dyad coaching scene

What is a dyad? It’s a 2-person team with a unique power-sharing dynamic. Most often found in the medical ecosystem between clinicians and administrators, it can be found many organizations where 2-people share strategic and operational leadership.

Dyad and Team Leadership, Organization Alignment

Oftentimes we see mismatched goals and misaligned incentives and fractured communication resulting in lost momentum and decreased performance. Our goal is to help leverage an organization’s greatest asset—your people. Whether is a leadership team or a dyad partnership, the ongoing health of an organization depends on strong partnerships, trust, and aligned incentives.

Imagine a team where everyone’s pulling in the same direction. This is powerful. Teams are intricate, and I’ve spent years tuning them to harmony. Let us help you on this journey.

What it is:

In-depth team sessions with the leadership team and dyad partners. Together, we'll align visions, bolster communication, and rally around shared objectives. We will set goals to maximize your competencies and agility to better meet business demands and achieve greater satisfaction. Paired with individual coaching sessions to accelerate changes on the team.

This is ideal for you if:

You're set on supercharging your team, weaving a unified vision, and achieving collective milestones.

Facilitation
(Virtual and InPerson)

I believe in the power of facilitation to serve as a catalyst for the transformation of groups. Whether a one-off gathering, multi-day conference/session or off-site retreat, I can design the full tactical and qualitative arc of a convening. Each project begins with a needs or outcomes assessment and mapping of key stakeholders to assist my clients in defining their objectives. Within this learned framework, I can wireframe sessions, design content and develop appropriate materials to target specific objectives.

What it is:

A structured, tailor-made facilitation process designed to drive transformation in groups through meticulously planned sessions, content, and materials.

This is ideal for you if:

You are seeking a guided approach to group engagements, aiming for clear outcomes from conferences, sessions, or retreats.

Leadership Presence

How you present yourself can make a powerful first and lasting impression. Whether it is a prepared speech or a response to a question at a meeting, your communication style speaks volumes about your confidence, level of knowledge, and can go far in building your credibility. It is crucial when inspiring funders, internal teams or the public at large to adopt an idea. It is a key differentiator between those who lead and those who are led.

What it is:

A focus on refining personal and professional communication styles to make impactful first and lasting impressions, bolstering both confidence and credibility.

This is ideal for you if:

You're aiming to inspire, lead, and elevate your credibility among peers, funders, teams, or the broader public through effective communication.
